ABOUT THE BOARD

The Board of Central Regional Health School welcomes you to this site. Our members are appointed by the Minister of Education every three years, at the same time most schools are holding their Board elections. This approach to Board selection is due to the ever-changing nature of Regional Health Schools’ community of students and parents. The appointed members have a wide range of skills and experience to meet the governance needs of our unique school. In addition a staff member is elected, and from time to time the Board will also co-opt additional members.

The Board meets eight times a year at the Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington site, or occasionally on-line. Any member of our school community or public is welcome to attend our meetings and should contact the Principal to arrange access. Copies of Board Minutes are available on request by emailing admin@crhs.school.nz

CRHS policies including our child protection policy are reviewed on an on-going three year cycle and are available on request to the Principal. We also welcome you to read our Strategic Plan, and latest Annual Report, and ERO Report
